You like the idea of a baitboat. Which one do you go for and another question do you really need one ? Maybe you just like sitting mixing your groundbait up without wanting to struggle with loosefeed.
If you can not spod your loosefeed far enough then a baitboat will be an excellent purchase but only if you will get your use out of it You will have the ability to drop your deadbait/ boilies whatever you want out to any spot for instance under overhanging trees .
There are quite a few baitboats for sale at the moment depending on where you want to fish there is no great difference. So dont get too hung up over which one you are going to pick you will see my choice below
My favourite 4 are
Angling Technics Procat ,Angling Technics Microcat , Total Fishing Gears Patriot baitboat and also the Waverunner bait boat
I could reccommend any of these
This is the one I would choose
The Waverunner bait boat features two independent hoppers which are excellent for all baits including particles and deadbaits. So this could be used for pike, carp or catfish fishing. With a massive 3kg bait capacity The Waverunner Baitboat also has two independent rig holders . Stainless steel weed guards,10 ultra high intensity LED’s so you can see whats happening even when night fishing. Tri coloured battery meter so that there is no confusion over the state of your battery. Comes complete with mains battery charger.Remote Lighting control which is operated form the hand set. The range of The Waverunner Baitboat is up to 1000m depending upon environmental conditions. It also has an amazing 2hrs+ running time at maximum speed
If you are still wanting more information on baitboats or any other type of fishing tackle I recommend this as the best fishing site for all your fishing needs The Total fishing gear site also has info on learning how to tie fishing knots
